Our work

Real systems. Real businesses.

Every system we've built started with a conversation about a problem. Here's what came out of those conversations.

We work with a small number of clients at a time, and we go deep. For Luth Research — a consumer and market research firm — that's meant building multiple systems across their business, from financial visibility to content production. Here are two.

Case Study 01 · Client: Luth Research · Industry: Consumer & market research

Eliminating $120K a year in manual reporting overhead.

The problem

Their CEO was spending hours every week pulling financial data from three separate systems — project management, payroll, and accounting — and reconciling it by hand. With 387 active projects and a $2.7M+ cost portfolio, the margin for error was high and the time cost unsustainable. There was no real-time view of how projects were performing against budget.

What we built

A custom executive dashboard that pulls live data from three sources into one real-time view of margin across every active project. A built-in advisor answers plain-language questions about job risk, margin trends, and client exposure, and proactive alerts surface issues automatically — before anyone has to go looking. No more manual exports, no more reconciliation, no more waiting on a report.

Case Study 02 · Client: Luth Research · Industry: Consumer intelligence

From 3 hours per infographic to 10 minutes — automatically.

The problem

Luth needed a steady stream of LinkedIn infographics for content marketing. Every piece required a designer or coordinator to concept, design, revise, and produce — 2 to 4 hours each, at $50–150 in staff time. At 8–10 pieces a month, production was slow, expensive, and dependent on individual availability. Brand consistency varied; revisions meant days of back-and-forth.

What we built

A custom web application — accessible by URL, nothing to install. The team fills in a brief (title, key stats, audience, core insight) and marks it ready; the system generates a fully designed, on-brand infographic using Luth's colors, type, and visual style, then exports a downloadable image. A built-in chat lets the team refine designs in plain English, and every version is remembered. No designer required. No emails. No waiting.

Client testimonial

"For years I ran this company without a real-time picture of where we made or lost money. Cascade changed that. The reporting that used to eat the first day of my week is gone, and last quarter we caught two projects slipping into the red before they cost us. It paid for itself almost immediately."

Background

Built by someone who's been inside the problem.

Before building Cascade, I spent five years at Accenture as a technology strategy consultant — leading enterprise software deployments, managing 200-person teams, and reporting directly to C-suite leadership on programs worth billions. I've sat in the room where decisions get made without the right data, and watched talented teams burn hours on work that systems should handle. I built Cascade because I know exactly what that costs — in time, in money, and in the decisions that never get made because no one has the full picture. The systems I build now come from that experience: built for owners and executives who need real information, not another dashboard of numbers that don't connect to how the business runs.
